Baton Rouge Senior Portrait Photography

This girl. Wow.

Some people are just electric. Evangeline is surely, most certainly one of them.

Intelligent. Funny. Makes her momma VERY happy and proud and probably a thousand other things both great and then the not so great! That's what daughters are for, right?!

Loved her shoot for a hundred reasons. Mainly cause she is the creative, artsy type and wanted every single painted wall in the city apart of her shoot day. That made this artsy-farsty type very happy. The day was filled with downtown adventuring, wardrobe changes and a Highlands Coffee frozen party in your mouth- as my friends term them- treat for me.

Evangeline's motto in life just happened to be on the grounds by a favorite art piece. So we kicked off her shoes and relaxed her feet!

Her final request was the most special to me. And happened to be 30 miles from where we were shooting.... the photographers love for capturing their clients greatest desire runs deep

It was the stage of her high school. The one she has enjoyed, grown and been a part of since starting at Dutchtown in her thespian group four years ago. It was truly the one place that we needed to end our Sunday afternoon together and her final years of being a highschooler.

She was gorgeous, perfect and is going to ROCK the COLLEGE WORLD!

Watch out, America!

Baton Rouge Family Photography Session

First off, I have to say that this shoot was a particular favorite. Why you ask? Well because this particular couple was all about letting me shoot them on paint walls and stranger's ivy walls and in the side alley with more paint walls. So you can say I was most happy with shooting this Family Session

I have known Kristin for years... we went to high school together and even attend the same church. We started with a maternity shoot in mind but it led to more of a family one :)

The one on the left- Jaco and to the right- Connor.

Connor was a good sport for so many shots. Those boys can be the hardest but he was promised lots of video games and possibly breakfast if he were to keep smiling for Mrs. Natalie...

Best part of all was it was an overcast day which led to crazy good lighting and I was able to shoot at the arsenal downtown that has this lovely little bunch of pines that lends for very pretty pictures to me...

Baton Rouge Family Photography Session

Wow. Never would I have imagined this little couple having four lovely children. (And they want more... gasp) Sooo, this Family Session was all new to me! I thought one or two children would be plenty but it seems like for the Matt's the more the merrier. They pull it off quite nicely as well.

The darling to the left was their firstborn, Presley. Then there was the sweet, little one on the right... Moses, who was adopted from Uganda in 2009. A great, rewarding moment for the Matt family. I can remember watching their journey to bring him home.... And he has made quite a cute addition to their clan.

Then there was the third born... Elikai. He is just as cute  as he can be and so much more. His little mischievous look here is nothing to be reckoned with. He will have you tossing him Skittles just as fast as you can.

And last but certainly not least, their latest addition, Tallulah.

All of them just made for some darling photos...

We did of course have to dish out lots of candy and promise for lots of treats after our little photo time together. One of the things I appreciated most about the Matts was they were not super hung up on making everyone picture perfect. "That's not real life," Meghan says and so we had a lot of fun letting the kiddos run around and be kids and make each other squeal.

And that's a wrap!

The infamous Dinkel boys. Are there any kids cuter? Probably not. But I am super partial.

Children's Photography

Abram- almost 3 yrs old- to the left and big brother Brody- just made 5- to the right.... they could be in a magazine with that sort of cuteness.

Silly faces pics was of course their favorite and I am pretty sure we lost all of them after this part.

John Robert met Chad many a years ago... I think they were 14. Yeah. So they have been the best of friends all these years since... that's at least double not to get into their ages and all. So I feel super blessed to have these people as family and mostly to have those two, sweet boys as my nephews. Double, triple win.

Brody was apparently very tickled during this particular one and Abe was completely distracted

I pray this brotherly love stays forever.

And that they always play with each other, too. Which means throwing punches in boy world.

Such a good-looking bunch. Abe obviously takes much pride in his hair. Like his daddy.
